I’m an artist living and working in Glasgow, primarily in paint.
I initially studied painting and ceramics in Denmark at the Billede-Kunste Skole before working with disadvantaged children and young adults doing art projects. I really enjoyed this and continued developing my own work at the same time.
On moving back to Scotland I continued painting for galleries and private commissions across the country with the occasional piece for Denmark, as well as participating in the extended learning programs at Edinburgh School of Art and Glasgow School of Art.
Exhibiting in Edinburgh and Glasgow, I met my husband at one of my exhibitions and moved west to Glasgow where I work from my home studio with my 4 kids bustle and my miniature schnauzer at my feet.
I work primarily in oil and love working with vibrant colours. I have painted a lot of landscapes, particularly in Fife where we holiday. The beautiful light and colour probably makes it my favourite place to paint.
